Why Radiesse?
Radiesse is a facial filler that safely adds volume back to the areas of your face where wrinkles, folds, and sagging skin have developed. It can take years off your appearance and is very natural-looking.
Injected under the skin in areas that have become thinner and wrinkled, Radiesse replaces lost collagen structure in your skin. It is made of totally natural components found normally in our bodies. Radiesse can be injected a bit deeper than other hyaluronic fillers, filling more pronounced lines and grooves.
What can Radiesse accomplish?
Radiesse is recommended for younger patients aged 35-55 who are just beginning to see the signs of aging. It improves the appearance of:
- Shallow to moderate smile lines and marionette lines around the mouth

- Nasolabial folds

What can you expect from Radiesse?
Radiesse injections are practically painless because it is mixed with lidocaine to numb the treatment areas. To make treatments with any facial filler more comfortable, we can give you complimentary nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and local anesthetic blocks, as well as topical numbing cream and cooling packs.
Some swelling and bruising can be expected after a Radiesse treatment, but these will diminish over a period of 3-10 days. You may also feel small lumps in the treatment areas, but these cannot be seen and will also subside over a short period of time.
One of the biggest advantages of Radiesse is that for most people, the results from just one treatment last for a year and as long as two years for some.
